These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are a legally binding agreement between Grayton Expeditions, hereinafter referred to as "the Company," and the participants of mountain climbing expeditions, hereinafter referred to as "the Climbers." These Terms govern the rights and obligations of both the Company and the Climbers during the course of the mountain climbing expedition.
1.1. Mountain climbing involves inherent risks, including but not limited to, the risk of injury or death due to altitude, weather, falls, avalanches, rockfall, and other natural hazards. Climbers acknowledge and accept these risks.
1.2. Climbers must have adequate physical fitness and be aware of the challenges and risks associated with mountain climbing.
2.1. Climbers must make a booking through the Company's designated channels and pay the required deposit or fees to secure their spot on the expedition.
2.2. Payment details and schedules will be provided by the Company upon booking.
3.1. Cancellation policies, including deadlines and refund amounts, are determined by the Company and will be provided to Climbers upon booking.
3.2. Climbers must notify the Company of any cancellations in writing or through the designated communication channels.
4.1. Climbers are responsible for providing their own personal gear and equipment unless otherwise specified in the expedition details.
4.2. Climbers' gear must be in good condition and meet safety standards. The Company may provide a list of recommended equipment.
5.1. Climbers are responsible for obtaining any required permits or passes necessary for the expedition. The Company will provide guidance on this process.
5.2. Climbers must adhere to all local, national, and international regulations, including environmental and safety guidelines.
6.1. The Company will provide experienced guides for the expedition. Climbers must follow the instructions and guidance of the guides for safety.
6.2. Climbers must participate in safety briefings and training sessions as required by the Company.
7.1. Climbers should have adequate travel and health insurance that covers emergency evacuations, injuries, and other mountain-related incidents.
7.2. Climbers should inform the Company of any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary requirements in advance.
8.1. Climbers must adhere to Leave No Trace principles and respect the environment, including proper waste disposal and trail conservation.
9.1. Climbers may be required to sign a liability waiver acknowledging the risks and absolving the Company of liability for any injuries or damages.
10.1. The Company reserves the right to modify the expedition itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances, including weather conditions.
11.1. Any disputes or claims arising from these Terms will be governed by the applicable laws and resolved through negotiation, mediation, or arbitration.
By booking and participating in a Grayton Expeditions mountain climbing expedition, Climbers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
