We will pick you up in your hotel/ airport and transport you to Lake Manyara National Park. Upon our arrival, we'll enjoy a satisfying lunch at the lodge before embarking on an afternoon game drive within Lake Manyara National Park. This park boasts a breathtaking location, situated dramatically at the base of the western escarpment of the Great Rift Valley, featuring a vast yet shallow soda lake that covers a substantial portion of the park. Lake Manyara's diverse habitats serve as a haven for a wide array of wildlife, including a significant concentration of elephants, the renowned tree-climbing lions, and impressive flocks of flamingos drawn by the lake's algae. Your evening will be spent in accommodation tailored to your preferences, be it a campsite or lodge, with dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.
Following breakfast, our journey leads us towards Serengeti National Park, traversing the picturesque highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As we bid farewell to the highland scenery, we descend into the heart of untamed Africa – the vast plains of Serengeti National Park, stretching as far as the eye can see. Our destination within the park is the central Seronera area, renowned as one of the park's most abundant wildlife habitats. Here, the Seronera River serves as a vital water source, attracting a diverse representation of Serengeti's wildlife species. We'll arrive in time for lunch and relish an afternoon game drive, immersing ourselves in Serengeti's natural beauty. As the day concludes, you'll retire for dinner and an overnight stay in the Seronera area, with accommodations tailored to your preferences, whether it's a campsite or lodge.
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You shall kick off to a morning game drive, where you might spot wild animals such as: Lions on hunt, Hyenas scavenging a carcass, Giraffes, Migratory wildebeest, Plain zebras, among other herbivores roaming on the savannah grassland. Arrive at the hotel in time for lunch before resuming back for an evening game drive. Head over to Olduvai Gorge pre-historic site, where remains of the old man have been preserved dating millions of years. You shall learn how man evolved till present. You will also have a chance to see the art crafts used for hunting, making fire, defense among others. In the evening, leave Olduvai Gorge pre-historic site and kick off to an evening game drive, where you might spot wild animals such as: Rhinos, Buffaloes, Leopards, African wild dogs and bird species such as: The Kori bustand, Ostriches, Secretary birds, Crown Crane, Vultures, Hornbills and plant species such as : Acacia, Euphobia, Cactus, Shrubs, among others. 1800hrs.You shall be transferred back to the hotel where you shall check in and prepare for tomorrow’s departure to Arusha.
After early breakfast we will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife for a half day’s safari tour. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, is it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually be seen here. In the afternoon after lunch start driving to Arusha Town and Get dropped in your hotel.
